My Collage Style

My collage work brings together fragments, textures, and materials to create new stories from unexpected combinations. I enjoy the process of selecting and layering elements like paper, fabric, printed imagery, painted marks and watching how they interact as the composition grows. Each piece becomes a conversation between contrast and harmony, where every layer adds depth, movement, and meaning.

Collage allows me to explore ideas in a playful, intuitive way. I often begin with a colour palette or a collection of shapes, then build the artwork piece by piece, responding to the relationships that emerge. Sometimes the results are bold and energetic; other times they are subtle and quiet, inviting viewers to look closely and discover the details hidden within the layers.

This style gives me the freedom to experiment, to mix mediums, and to create artworks that feel tactile and expressive. Each collage is a unique blend of materials and imagination, a visual patchwork that reflects both spontaneity and intention.
