My Still Life Style

My still life work focuses on the quiet beauty found in everyday objects of flowers, vessels, fruit, fabrics, and the small arrangements that often go unnoticed. I’m drawn to the way light falls across simple forms, how shadows create mood, and how colour can transform an ordinary scene into something expressive and meaningful.

When creating still life pieces, I take time to observe the relationships between shapes, textures, and space. Sometimes the compositions are soft and contemplative; other times they are bold and vibrant, depending on the story I want the objects to tell. I enjoy exploring how subtle shifts in light or placement can change the entire feeling of a piece.

This style allows me to slow down and appreciate the details the curve of a stem, the reflection on a glass surface, the rhythm created by repeated forms. Each artwork becomes a moment of stillness, inviting viewers to pause and connect with the quiet elegance of the scene.
